NC State University, Raleigh, NC
NCSU is pleased to offer an intensive three-day concrete technology training/examination course. The first two days of classroom instruction prepare students for field and written examinations. On the third day, students take field and written examinations necessary to obtain both ACI and NCDOT concrete testing certifications.
Students must bring to class a highlighter, rubber or leather gloves, and work boots.
This course is part of a technical support and outreach agreement between NCSU and the NCDOT to provide enhanced training/certification opportunities to the concrete industry in areas related to concrete materials and quality control/assurance methods and technologies.
Class materials will be shipped to each student prior to the class date.
Re-tests are provided only to students who failed to score a passing grade on any section(s) of the ACI or NCDOT examinations within the last six months. (Please note that proof of failure must be provided to take the re-test.)
The NCSU training/certification course follows the same format as the one originally developed by the NCDOT for this purpose. The course takes three days to complete. ACI and NCDOT "Concrete Field Technician Grade 1" certifications are the result of adequate performance in both field and written examinations required by ACI and NCDOT. The course takes place at facilities of the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering of NCSU. You will be properly advised about course location and schedule upon registration and payment.
CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION MUST OCCUR AT LEAST 5 BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO START OF SCHOOL OR FEE WILL BE FORFEITED.
