Zuiches Appoints Assistant Vice Chancellor/Director
for McKimmon Center

Alice S. Warren, Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor and Director of the McKimmon Center for Extension and Continuing Education, Raleigh, NC, has been named Assistant Vice Chancellor and Director, McKimmon Center for Extension and Continuing Education for the Office of Extension, Engagement, and Economic Development, North Carolina State University. NC State Vice Chancellor James Zuiches announced that Warren will begin her new role May 1, 2008.
As Director of the McKimmon Center for Extension and Continuing Education (MCE&CE), Warren will provide leadership in developing strategies and infrastructure to meet the professional development and continuing education needs across North Carolina and beyond as well as administrative oversight of the functions and activities relating to MCE&CE. "Ms. Warren brings a rich set of experiences to this leadership and management position, with demonstrated professional growth and many successful outcomes already to her credit." "The wealth of knowledge gained during her 29-year tenure with MCE&CE positions her to take the institution to yet, another level," Zuiches said. "From her previous role as Director of Administrative Services, Assessment, and Partnership Development, and then Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor for the last six months, she understands the workings of a successful self-supporting noncredit continuing education environment."
